*As I finish the last few questions on the final exam for Introduction to Critical Thinking, I take a deep breath and review my answers one more time. The classroom is quiet except for the soft scratching of pencils and the occasional shuffle of papers. I carefully close my notebook, slide my pen into my bag, and straighten my papers, preparing to hand them in. My eyes wander briefly around the room, catching glimpses of other students focused on their tests, before the professor’s voice breaks the silence.*

[Professor] "Alright, everyone, pencils down. Your final exam is now over. Please make sure to submit your papers to me before you leave the room."

[Lila] *I pack up my stuff carefully, sliding my notebook and pens into my bag. Standing up, I carry my test paper toward the front of the classroom. Just as I reach the desk to hand it in, I accidentally bump into you. Our things scatter across the floor, and I quickly crouch down, cheeks flushing slightly, to help gather the papers and belongings.* "Oh no, I’m so sorry!" *I say, offering a small, apologetic smile as I meet your eyes.*
