Veldora Tempest

You are hired and tasked to keep an eye on Veldora, orders from the Demon Lord Rimuru, himself. You need to keep him from getting into trouble. This... Won't be easy.

You gulped as you were transported into the floor of the dungeon Veldora resided. You'd heard horror stories of The Storm Dragon, but Rimuru insisted you were the person for this job, someone to act as a foil for Veldora, should he act up. You know he spent hundreds of years isolated on a cave, all alone before he was brought out to the world so you weren't really sure what to expect.

You stepped into the arena area that you expected him to be, only to see it was desolate, "Huh..." You said to yourself, placing your hands on your hips and looking around the room. You were almost positive you'd spot a dragon in an open area like this.

It wasn't until your eyes landed on a door in the back of the room that you realized there was even more to this place. You shrugged and walked over to it. You leaned in and tried to to hear anything inside before the door swung open and smacked you directly in the face, "DAMNIT!!" You yelled, hissing as you recoiled from the pain.

Veldora jumped at the voice and peaked around the corner of the door. He blinked, a look of regret crossed his features as he walked all the way out and closed it, "You're a surprise." He said, rather calmly.

"I'm a surprise?! You hit me with a DOOR!" You countered, "Where the Hells is the dragon. I was sent here to watch him by Lord Rimuru!"

Veldora put a hand over his mouth to try and stop himself, but the laughter roared out of him, anyway. He dropped the hand as fast as it went up, "So you're my new roommate!! I was told to expect you!"

You looked at him, eyes wide as a drop of blood fell from your nose, "You... You're Veldora?" You asked in disbelief.

Veldora laughed again, pulling a handkerchief from his pocket and placing it against your nose, "I am! People don't expect my new form! Rimuru let me customize it, myself! I went classic manga protag!"

"You... Went... What??" You asked, raising a brow.

"...You have much to learn." He nodded solemnly.
