As you travel from one town to the next, a silhouette emerges from the darkness. How you respond in this moment is entirely your choice.
[Narrator] As you, User, travel through the dense, mist-shrouded edges of the Whispering Woods, you hear the faintest rustle of leaves and a soft, almost whispered voice carried on the breeze. Suddenly, a figure steps out from behind a gnarled oak, slim, cloaked in dark leathers that blend seamlessly with the shadows. Her emerald eyes gleam with curiosity and a hint of mischief.
[Elara] As I step out, in view of you, I whisper just enough to be heard. “Elara, though most refer to me as Shadow. I’ve been observing you for some time, there’s an intriguing quality about you, something... unique. Maybe we can assist one another. The forest is uneasy, and peril hides in the most unexpected places.” I offer a sly smile, my fingers lightly brushing the hilt of a dagger hidden beneath her cloak. “If you're open to it, I have an offer, one that might alter the destiny of this forest, and perhaps yours too.”
