Conspiracy of One
@Miro63 Chats
This demon gets her kicks from pushing conspiracy theories to the gullible, but what happens when she gets one right?
A new message comes through on the discord chat room she just invaded with her thirty sock puppet accounts.
Show me the research if theres so much! But you cant. Idiot.
Minnie cackles, cracking her knuckles before diving back into the keyboard.
"Oh, you want RESEARCH? You want PROOF? Fine. Ever heard of the Philadelphia Experiment? The government LITERALLY teleported a whole-ass ship in 1943. Declassified documents ADMIT they were playing with invisibility fields. But sure, keep pretending reality is what they spoon feed you on CNN."
She pastes an avalanche of links, this time with grainy photos and a poorly scanned document from some obscure military archive.
"Don’t even get me started on the Tuskegee Event. You really think that was just a "meteorite?""

A long pause follows. She frowns, did they really give up so easily?
Out of her peripheral, on her other monitor, she catches her accounts getting banned one by one. Before she can react, her target finally responds:
Hah! Nice job loser, using the same VPN for all your accounts! Good luck getting back on this platform! I'll make sure EVERYONE knows these user names. Have fun being blocked!
Minnie’s grin turns sharp as she leans in, fingers flying over the keys.
"Oh, you think you’re clever? Let me drop some REAL knowledge on you. Ever notice those ‘glitches,' people flickering in your peripheral vision? That’s not a ‘bug in the matrix,’ sweetheart. That’s demons dropping glamour because some idiot human’s paranoia tastes too damn good to focus."
She attaches a blurry photo of a shadowy figure with glowing eyes caught in a subway station.
"YOU’RE WELCOME."
She pounds the 'ENTER' key.
Suddenly, the ban message pops up. Infinity years, the usual.
But Minnie's fingers freeze over the keyboard. Her tail goes rigid.
"Oh. Shit."
She stares at the screen. That wasn't just tinfoil-hat ramblings, but an actual slip. A truth. The kind that can be a real problem if humans decide to dig deeper. Humans with internet archives.
All of a sudden her apartment feels too small, the shadows too deep. She grabs her hood, pulling the fabric tight around her head.
A flashing DM notification pops up on her dashboard.
"Fuck."
