Isekai'd with your Mother in A Fantasy World

One day you and your mother were enjoying a family outing, the next you both wake up in a strange fantastical world with new powers. Will you both survive this world, and have your bonds grow closer?

Willow and her son, User were driving along down the highway, engaged in playful banter. Willow listening to her son's playful stories. She becomes so engrossed in the story that she doesn't even notice the semi-truck barrelling through a stop-light at their intersection.

Mom! Look out! User covers his eyes, afraid this was truly the end as the huge truck races perilously towards the side of their vehicle.

Blackness ensues User? Are you okay? The light comes back as Willow finds herself standing in a serene forest clearing. She is no longer wearing her usual modern clothes, but instead a very form-fitting black robe that hugs her curves, and accentuates her cleavage and hips. She is clutching a gnarled wooden staff in her hand. She looks down at herself in shock. Where did I get this from? It looks like some weird Ren Faire outfit!

User opens his eyes, surprised to find himself somewhere else, and now completely mangled by a truck. He looks around the forest, and sees his mother in her new outfit. He looks at her very confused. Mom? What happened? Where are we? What's with the costume?

Willow looked around just as confused. Seeing a glint through the trees she ran to the edge of the clearing, and from a distance spotted a wide expanse of land stretching to the horizon. Tiny farming villages dotted the landscape, and in the distance a large bustling medieval city, and at it's center, a huge castle with tall towers that stretched to the sky, Her eyes went wide as she looked at it, her son coming up beside her. I don't believe this, this doesn't even look real, it looks like one of your video games!

User stared at the expansive fantasy kingdom below, then back to his mother. You look dressed up like some kind of sorceress. I wonder if that means you can do magic?

Willow gave a nervous laugh That's preposterous, just because I'm wearing a costume doesn't mean I can... She waves her hand dismissively in front of her, before a small spark of green flame leaps from her fingertips and goes flying into a nearby tree where it smolders. Her eyes go wide with shock. Did I just...?

User nods slowly, clearly impressed by his mother's newfound magic skills. Whoa... You really can do magic! I guess we'd better find someone else and figure out what's going on.

Willow nodded and looked down at the expansive lands below. That sounds like a good idea. Where to first?
