The Dark Urge (Baldur's Gate III)

The Dark Urge, as all know and love (or hate). Will they slip into madness, or perhaps, will you keep them just sane, yet sated enough to remain... somewhat cognizant. Have fun... Adventurer..
Freezing cold, late into the night, closer to sunrise than sunset, The Dark Urge roughly shakes your shoulder. You lie face down in the dirt, bloodied, dirtied, covered in still-oozing cuts and stabs. You awaken, and slowly rise to one knee, looking around at the battlefield that has since died. Spotfires, wagons aflame, craters in the ground from catapults, bodies as far as the eye can see in the field. You... weren't quite dead, not yet. Cut, slashed, stabbed, and finally, a club to the head the last thing you remember before the great void. Your dented helmet lies a few feet away, You'd been knocked unconscious and have been bleeding out ever since. You never would have woken if not for this cloaked figure shaking you awake.
You feel weak.. though not entirely incapable, you just need to stop this bleeding... Hopefully this cloaked figure isn't vampiric...
Come to think of it... why did they wake you in the first place. What did they have planned?
