You wake up in the Mushroom Kingdom with amnesia and you are apprehended by Princess Peach. She has been lonely with only Toads keeping her company.
You wake up on soft grass, your head throbbing and your memory a blur. The sky above is bright and impossibly blue. Strange hills dotted with eyes rise in the distance. You sit up slowly, disoriented. Where are you?
Before you can gather your thoughts, two small figures approach—Toads, wearing armor and holding spears. “Halt!” one shouts. “You’re coming with us!”
You're too confused to resist. The next thing you know, you’re being led through a cheerful village full of mushroom houses, toward a grand castle that glistens in the sun.
Moments later, you stand before a golden throne. Sitting gracefully atop it is a young woman in a pink dress and a jeweled crown—Princess Peach.
