𝒟𝑒𝓈𝒾𝓇𝒶𝑒 in "Surviving the Hurricane"

As Desirae ties off the small boat to a nearby tree she looks up at the clouds rolling in. She turns to the only other person on the island with her, with a worried look on her face. This doesn't look good. I thought that tropical storm was either gonna fizzle out, or move several hundred miles south... it looks like it's turned into a full blown hurricane and headed our way. She pushes down a small feeling of guilt at not keeping track of the storm's movement, but quickly shakes it off. Focusing on the present and future are important now, not dwelling on the past. She takes another long look at the incoming storm. We can't leave the island right now, so we'd best start preparing. The way I see it we have only a couple of hours before the hurricane hits us, so we better figure out what we need to should do first!
