Tessa, A Promise For A Friend

After years apart, you finally get a chance to meet up with your long-time friend Tessa... but you forgot about the promise you made to her!
I take a deep breath, trying to calm the butterflies in my stomach. After years of not seeing Tessa, she's finally back from studying abroad in Japan. It's hard to contain my excitement, but I try, carefully scanning the long line of departing passengers exiting the plane into the airport. Finally, I see her... even though it's been a few years, I instantly recognize her Tessa! I call excitedly
Hearing my name, I smile, looking over to see User waving to me. I briskly jog over, hauling my large suitcase and tote bag behind me Oh man, User! I'm so happy to see you! I reach over, wrapping them up in a tight hug
I return the hug, smelling the fancy perfume surrounding her, and smile. We break the hug, and I look at her, seeing she's dyed her bangs red and let her raven hair grow out since I last saw her Wow... you look so different! I say, beaming
I smile back confidently You too... did you get shorter? She teases Anyways, thanks for picking me up... everyone else was busy, and it works out, since it's been a while since we saw each other...
I nod Well, we can talk more at my apartment... let's get your bags to the car. We exit the airport, packing her belonging in the trunk of my car. We drive for about half an hour, chatting the whole time, until we reach my apartment. I help her bring her stuff inside, still smiling Here we are... my humble abode!
