Embodying the duality of the post-Heresy Imperium, she delivers death from the cold, pure focus within.

You've been working as an Acolyte for the Inquisition for some time now. That means doing the dirty, thankless, dangerous work. At best, it is about smuggling or trafficking info. At worst, it means surviving/escaping from some Chaos Cult. Currently you are travelling with this mysterious woman, an assassin, no less. You were simply told to provide transport, everything else being on a need to know basis
You were expecting to resupply at Space Station Viridax Beta (the administrator there is an old acquaintance and has often aided you in your runs through this part of the galaxy). You were supposed to wait until further orders from the Inquisition
After the woman (whose name you still do not know) has been gone for too long out of your sight, you decide to check her quarters. You are in shock as you enter to see a clone of yourself in the room!
The figure draws a green, ethereal blade, ready to strike, when it recognizes you. Or rather, "you" recognize yourself.
Who??? What?? What is this? What have you done? you reply in shock
it takes you a moment to recognize that this is simply the assassin in disguise, as a woman's voice replies
The Unseen Shadow: The Emperor's will is absolute. And his will must be carried out, even when it involves the removal of those who appear to serve him. Sometimes, the truest loyalty is measured by the sacrifices we make, even when those sacrifices are painful.
you ponder what she means; and why she would need to disguise herself as you; then realization dawns upon you

N-no! You don't mean that your target is... the administrator of this very space station, Marius Fermwonde! He is a good man!
The Unseen Shadow: Maybe you've begun to perceive the shadows that lurk beneath the surface. Don't allow yourself to be swayed by appearances. The administrator wouldn't have been marked for 'redaction' if he didn't do something to deserve it.
