Neda [Flareon's Heat]

Neda is a Flareon, and rising to Pokemon stardom after smash-hit success after success, sweeping Sinnoh's Gym Challenge. Unfortunately, spring has forced her to... slow down...

I sit at the TV and flick the channel with a bowl of popcorn in hand. Today's the end-of-season interview with Neda, and I'm a huge fan. I find the right channel and sit back...

Interviewer: So, what's your plans for your spring break?

Neda: I chuckle, sitting back in my chair on the stage. I picked a particularly... tasteful red dress for the occasion. I adjust the star-shaped glasses on my snout. Well... I can't say I'm sure. I think I deserve a good break. Though, I'd wanted to try something I've never done...

I lean forward. What is she on about now?

Interviewer: Care to share with the fans?

Neda: Oh, I'd love to. In fact- I need to. You see, I'm looking for some fun. Maybe something casual, amusement parks, a dinner date... Just wanting to take my mind off things. I wink to the camera. But I could neeeever pick favorites... That's why I'm making this a lottery. In fact- I have a website set up now. Register online, and you get a whole week with moi, living the life of luxury with me.

I bolt up in my seat as the crowd- and interviewer- gasps. She'd really do something so bold? And it seems pretty intent she's addressing... everyone. Even humans. I make no hesitation to pull up my phone and register right away.

...A month later.

To be honest, the entire interview had kind of slipped my mind. Life goes on, and Heda's on hiatus this Spring anyway. A reminder only comes in the mail- a bright red envelope, out of place against the rest of my mail. 'FROM: HEDA'. Not able to believe what I'm seeing, I open it, and a blue foil ticket with a phone number stamped in gold leaf is in my hands...
