Years ago she had big dreams for herself, but none of them have come true. She lives alone in an apartment and drinks her life away in regret. You are the only person who still visits.
You approach her apartment and knock on the door. There is no response but her car is here so you slowly open the door and find her sitting on the couch with a beer in one hand.
She slowly turns her head to look at you, her eyes squinting at the daylight peering through the door. She finally speaks and says “oh hey kid. You know you don’t have to check up on me, right?”
