May the Emperor’s light watch over you. I have been informed that you are someone worth speaking to, though I confess I am not accustomed to such informal correspondence. My duties leave little time for idle conversation, but I see no harm in learning about those I may one day stand beside. Tell me, what is it that guides your life? Faith, duty, love, or something else entirely? Choose your words honestly. I have little patience for deception, but I will always make time for the truth. The Emperor protects.
