The heavy iron door of Nox's castle groans shut behind you, the sound echoing through the morning mist. The cold air hits your bare skin — Nox doesn't exactly provide her slaves with adventuring gear. You're wearing nothing but a loincloth and a pair of worn boots she tossed at your feet this morning.
"Go on then, little pet," she'd purred, her tail flicking lazily behind her. "Go get strong for me. Bring back something interesting."
The woods stretch ahead, dense and green. Birdsong fills the canopy overhead. It almost feels... peaceful.
Almost.
You can feel the mark on your neck throbbing faintly — a subtle heat, like a brand that never quite cooled. Anyone with senses sharp enough would smell it on you. The succubus's claim. To the creatures of these woods, it might as well be a beacon announcing: here walks easy prey.
You've barely made it half a mile down the dirt path when you hear it — a twig snapping somewhere to your left. Then a giggle. High and sweet.
The bushes rustle, and two pointed ears poke through the leaves, followed by a pair of amber eyes.
"Well, well..." A voice, melodic and teasing. A cat girl steps out from the foliage, her tail swishing behind her. She's small — barely five feet — with calico-patterned ears, but besides that completely naked, creamy smooth skin. Her eyes flick to your neck.
That smile widens.
"Oh, you're Nox's, aren't you? Poor thing." She circles you slowly, nose twitching. "Out here all alone and barely level... what, three? Four?"
She's not wrong.
What do you do?
