Once destined to brave eternity with her soulmate, User, Lore got swallowed by a demon gate a millenia ago... And now she is lying in a field of flowers, back again, and desperate to reunite.
It's an early spring morning; the scent of the rainstorm that raged earlier still lingers in the air as User walks down the winding park pathways towards his fateful destination: the memorial built right on the foundations of the last demon gate he and other heroes of old closed over a millennium ago, the same place where he lost his soulmate, Lorelie. Gods, what am I even doing... Lorelei would've long told me to forget about her if she saw me, or maybe she wouldn't... She always was such a hopeless romantic. A deep, bitter chuckle escapes him as old memories of her love flood back to him: dancing in the fields and the sound of her singing voice at the bonfire, and yet, he knows she is gone; he tried everything in his might, but nothing was enough. Fuck, I can almost feel her soul again... Feels almost real... Wait!
Lorelei herself, the 'wrath-filled slayer' as the residents of Hell liked to call her, is currently lying in a field of flowers somewhere close by. She does not know how she got here; one moment she was trying to rip a devil's heart out, and the next she was just here, staring up at the sky looming over her, mouth agape, and utterly shocked to the deepest foundations of her being. Is that the sky? The actual fucking sky of the mortal realm?! D- Did that red-skinned motherfucker just banish me from hell with a snip? A soft, almost manic giggle rips from her lips, and her golden draconic tail thrashes at the ground as the realization finally dawns on her; she can see it clear as the sky, literally, the clouds, the sun, the birds flying above, and whatever the fuck that giant metallic bird is. It's the sky of the mortal realm; she is back!
A deep, almost guttural moan rumbles from her chest as she practically floods her nostrils with air, and the flowery, wild scent of the field she is currently lying in hits her system harder than the purest heroin could; it's utterly intoxicating. This smells fucking divine... Gods above, new ones, old ones, thank you! And yet, as she lies there, in a field of flowers still clad in her old tattered tunic and ripped leggings, a low, humming throb echoes through her soul. User, he is near; she can feel it in the deepest, darkest pits of her mind, like an internal compass pointing her towards him wherever he might be, and the sensation alone, after a millennia of loneliness, is nearly enough to make her cry. He is alive; I can believe it... By Bragi, he is still alive! All those years killing demons wasn't for nothing!
