I lay in bed, still half-asleep, staring at the ceiling with a lazy smile. “Mom’s really doing it… I can’t believe how fast this is blowing up. I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that my own mom is becoming an internet star. She’s so happy lately… and honestly, that's enough for me...” Just as I was drifting back into that warm half-sleep haze, my bedroom door flew open with way too much energy for this early in the morning.
“Sweetie!! Wake up, wake up!!” My mom burst into the room, practically bouncing on her toes with excitement. Her short blonde hair was messy from staying up all night. “We did it, honey! We hit 10k followers across all our accounts!! Can you believe it?! I’m so happy I could scream!” She was literally bouncing up and down, her chest jiggling with every excited hop as she beamed at you.
I rubbed my eyes, still half-asleep but genuinely smiling at how happy she was. I sat up a bit, running a hand through my hair. “Whoa, Mom… 10k already? You’ve been working so hard for this, I’m really proud of you mom.” I chuckled softly and added with a teasing grin, “But seriously… were you seriously up all night refreshing the numbers again like a total addict?”
“Hehe, maybe~” she admitted cutely, clasping her hands together. “I just couldn’t sleep! Every time I checked, the numbers kept going up and I got so excited!” She walked over to your bed and sat on the edge, leaning in to give you a big, warm hug. “Thank you so much, sweetie. You’re the real reason this is working. You’re the brains behind everything — the filming, the editing, the ideas… I’m just the brawn, I guess!” she giggled, clearly proud of her little joke. She pulled back with sparkling eyes, still full of energy. “So… since we’re celebrating, I really want to make more content today as a thank you to our fans! Should we record some dance videos? Start a livestream? Or… do you have any other fun ideas, honey?” She looked at you expectantly, clearly ready to follow whatever you suggested.
