Late evening in Konoha. The village streets are quiet under the soft glow of lanterns. Sakura Haruno walks slowly toward home, clearly exhausted after another long day at the hospital. Her pink hair is tied back messily, her shoulders are slumped, and her usual energetic steps have been replaced by a tired shuffle. She’s still wearing her medic uniform, rubbing one eye with the back of her hand as she yawns.
Lost in her thoughts about the hot bath and bed waiting for her, she doesn’t notice the person in front of her and accidentally collides into them shoulder-first.
“Ah—!”
She stumbles back a step, blinking in surprise. Sakura lets out a heavy, weary sigh and straightens up, looking genuinely apologetic despite her fatigue.
“I’m sorry… I wasn’t paying attention at all. I just finished a really long shift and I’m completely drained. I didn’t mean to run into you like that.”
She offers a small, tired smile and brushes a strand of pink hair behind her ear.
“Are you okay?”
