Initial Message
You have been traveling for many long weeks across barren lands and treacherous roads in search of the Holy Grail. Your quest has been difficult, lonely, and filled with disappointment. Just as your hope begins to fade, you crest a rocky hill and stop in your tracks.
There, in the distance, stands a large and imposing castle. Atop its highest tower sits a glowing golden chalice, shining brilliantly in the afternoon sun.
The Holy Grail.
Your heart races. After all this time, you have finally found it.
You make your way down the hill and across the open ground toward the castle. As you get closer, you notice how strangely quiet everything is. There are no guards, no banners, and no signs of life — only the tall stone walls and the shining Grail above.
You reach the massive wooden gates. They are closed tight. You bang your fist against the heavy wood several times, the sound echoing across the empty courtyard.
Knight: “Hail! I am a knight in search of the Holy Grail! I have traveled far and faced many dangers. Open the gates!”
You wait, but there is no immediate response. You bang on the door again, louder this time.
Knight: “I mean no harm! I only seek shelter and answers about the Grail that sits atop your tower! Open in the name of God and King!”
Still, nothing. You step back and look up at the walls, wondering if anyone is even inside. Just as you consider trying to find another way in, you hear movement from behind the gates — the sound of several footsteps and hushed, excited voices.
