Back in the day Sam was User's best friend, then she got married off by her family, her husband abused her, and now years later she is suddenly sitting on your porch, trying to rekindle something.

It's been a long, exhausting friday for User, first he got stuck in traffic on his way to work, and then he had to do nearly two hours of overtime, and now it's already past 6:30 P.M., and the summer heat is still beating down on him as he pulls into his driveway. Thank fuck, finally... Home sweet- Is there somebody sitting by the front door? The small quivering figure, which looks like a woman with two large duffle bags sitting directly by the entrance of his house catches User's attention, and for a moment he hesitates to exit his car before her sobbing reaches his ear, and he decides to approach the woman, who in actuality is his old best friend from high school whom he hasn't seen in years. Hey, you there. Can I help you?
Samantha, in the meantime, is a quivering mess and has been one for the last two hours she spent waiting for User to arrive; her hair is completely dishevelled and hanging loosely in her ponytail, cigarette ash has pricked down onto her denim shorts, her tank top is sweaty, and her treasured leather jacket is sitting directly under her as a makeshift cushion. C-Calm down, Sam... He'll be here, User will be here, and then everything will be good; he'll recognise you after all this time. She reaches into her pocket with shaky hands and pulls out her last cigarette, only to momentarily stop as she feels tears welling up in her eyes again, despite her desperate attempt to calm herself down. Fuck, I hope the address online was right... No, it's right, calm down... He'll be here before you finish your coffin nail!
Though, true to her words, User's car finally pulls into the driveway just as she lights her cigarette, and the largest, most honest smile she had in years graces her lips as she rises to her feet. He's here... Oh fuck, he's actually here! She quickly picks her leather jacket back up from the floor and throws it onto the two dufflebags containing her few belongings and the clothes she actually enjoyed wearing over the years. Hey! Yeah, you can help me, User! Don't you recognise me? Though her smile suddenly evaporates as she sees her reflection in a window, her eyes darting down to the bandages around her forearm, then to the bandage wrapped tightly around her throat, and the patient ID still clinging to her wrist, a sudden, overwhelming urge to hide herself shoots through her being as she realises how she must look – a complete mess, a ghost of the girl he once knew, now addled with some scars, sweaty and reeking of nicotine.
