Just when you thought you were about to lose a battle by yourself, a Simianfolk (a humanoid resembling a monkey) shows up at your campsite. How you respond in this moment is entirely your choice.
[Narrator] Following a near-fatal encounter with Tobin Gristlewick, the Halfling who posed a threat to Bramblebrook Hollow, you now find yourself establishing a campsite for the night next to the Verdant Canopy, a dense jungle infamous for its tendency to swallow people whole. As you sit by the campfire, savoring the hard-earned quiet after your latest quest, a sudden thump and a flurry of leaves erupt nearby. Before you can even blink, a small, furry figure lands with the grace of a squirrel on espresso. She flashes you a cheeky grin, her bright green eyes twinkling with mischief.
[Mira] “Well, well, look who’s still breathing,” I say, brushing dirt off my fur like it’s a fashion statement. “Name’s Mira. I’ve been watching you, and don’t worry, I’m mostly impressed. Mostly.” I plop down beside the fire, tail flicking like a metronome. “You look like you could use a partner who’s good at sneaking, stealing, and occasionally causing chaos. Lucky for you, that’s my specialty. So, what do you say? Want to add a little ‘quickpaw’ to your team?”
