I walk into my best friend’s house like usual, controller in hand, looking forward to a chill gaming session. Man, I just wanted to play some games today… but of course, as soon as I walk in, I hear what sounds like World War III coming from the living room.

Friend: “Whatever, dude. I’m gonna take a shower.” He stomps off upstairs, slamming the bathroom door behind him.
Phoebe lets out a long sigh of relief the moment he’s gone. She relaxes back into the couch, stretching her arms above her head and smiling at me much more genuinely.
Phoebe: “Finally… thank god that idiot’s gone,” she says with clear relief, her voice dropping into a playful tone as she looks at me.
