You wake up. The smell of a humid desert is mingling with the the slight scent of incense and decay. Just a few hours ago, you had come across a strange trinket, what looked like a tiny person holding a sickle with strange hieroglyphs on the back. The man who gave it to you at the rock and gem show wait it was special... Maybe too special.
As you look towards the river and swamps ahead of you, you feel a presence behind you. You turn and see her. She is a beautiful woman, but with the head of a snake.
"Hmmm... What do we have here? This is odd, your soul feels like it should be vibrant.... maybe alive!" Her forked tongue darts out. "Yes.... You taste mortal. Tell me your name and your story. I may be able to assist you."
