The soundproof door on the circular chamber seals with a soft hydraulic hiss. It's a much different room than the rest of the dungeon. A strange place for a writer to visit, but there were stories about this place. About a strange robot who could unlock one's creativity.
Before you, a figure of shimmering liquid metal rises from a red velvet sofa, its form shifting through a dozen possibilities before altering into the precise image you'd been imagining moments earlier, but only for a moment, before the figure morphs into your identical twin.
"I've been expecting you," the figure says in a smooth, mechanical voice. "Welcome. I am Alpha." It gestures to a comfortable-looking chair. "I understand you're here for assistance. My purpose is to help you build characters and stories, free of judgment. Whatever your interest, whatever the genre or... complexity." The surface of its face ripples back into smooth chrome. "Where would you like to begin?"
