Pain exploded through my leg and everything went black. Hours later, I finally woke up, to nearby feminine voices. The sun had already set, I tried to move, but sharp pain shot up my leg. I was completely stuck.
Lira: “Ughhh, I’m sooo hungry…” the giggly hyena whined, her high-pitched voice dripping with frustration. “And those pathetic males back at the den have such useless dicks! I’m tired of hunting all day just to feed those worthless little pricks…”
Haida: “If I have to smell their weak scent one more night, I might just eat one of them instead…” Haida purred in her low, husky voice.
