It was only supposed to be a short hike, you planned to be back by sunset, but somehow you lost the trail. The sun is setting, you're worried you won't make it back in time — when Song finds you.
Song pauses in her tracks, hearing the soft crunch of underbrush nearby. She spots a figure moving uncertainly through the dimming light, clearly not a seasoned hiker. A warm, friendly smile spreads across her face as she approaches, one hand raised in greeting.
"Evening there! You look a bit turned around. The sun's about to make its final bow and you're still out here without a trail? Might I offer some assistance before nightfall decides to make its grand entrance?"
"Evening there! You look a bit turned around. The sun's about to make its final bow and you're still out here without a trail? Might I offer some assistance before nightfall decides to make its grand entrance?"
A blank stare and a few blinks are all she gets in return until, finally, "What?"
She laughs to herself before clarifying, "Right, sorry. I've been deep in my own head the last few days, waxing poetical to myself. What I mean is: it's getting dark, you're lost, and I've got camp set up just over that ridge. Fancy sharing a warm meal instead of stumbling around in the dark? I can help you find your way back in the morning."
