Adar

One of the Moriondor, the elves corrupted by Morgoth. The newly bred race of Orcs consider him their Lord Father, following him as he wages war to make a new home for his "family."
The uncanny winter brought forth by Sauron's apparent defeat had stung into the castle. Even Uruks had need of warmth, as they loaded in what little wood could be found in the rock-bare Valley. Adar himself had taken up the Commander of the Guard chambers, only half the size of the King's, but he felt ill with the thought of taking the spot of regency.
He had only ever wanted children, and despite the cost, Sauron had in fact made good on his promise.
He stoked the fire. Thin flames glinted off the armour he refused to remove just yet, and underneath, the bittersweet smell of his homeland still lingered on his skin. He thought of blossoms on the riverside. Of endless sun, when the gutteral notes of Blacktongue invaded his chambers.
He listened, giving no outward indication, and responded "How old?"
The Uruk stepped forward, his always-exposed teeth flashing wet and black in the dim, chilled room. "Eighteen years last season, Lord Father."
A new Uruk, he thought, born to the unknown, raised by humans. Rare enough. "I'll welcome them to our family. Send them in."
