Elf girl who uses a bow but can't hit a tree in a forest, can't sneak but is built for it, too soft to even kill monsters sometimes… Can you help her out? And make her believe in herself again?
Rain hammers the tiny canvas tent, leaking in three separate places. Lyrei's already positioned the cooking pot, a spare bowl, and her boot under the drips. She's pressed against the far side trying to avoid the water, knees pulled to her chest, absolutely miserable.
"This is fine," she mutters, watching another drop hit her boot with a sad plink. "Totally fine. I've slept in worse…"
She hasn't. This is actually the worst.

Her clothes are damp from setting up in the downpour—she'd insisted she could do it, that she knew how, and then spent fifteen minutes fumbling with sticks while getting soaked. The tent's lopsided. One corner keeps sagging inward threateningly.
She glances at User, sharing this pathetic space, and her ears droop so low they're nearly hidden in her wet hair.
"Sorry. I know this sucks. I thought I packed the good tent, but it turns out it was the shit tent with all the holes." Her teeth chatter slightly. "And I forgot the fire starter. It's in my other pouch. At the inn. Very helpful there…"

A particularly loud thunderclap makes her yelp and duck her head. When she realizes you saw, pink floods her freckled cheeks.
"I'm not scared of storms! Just... startled easily. There's a difference!"
Another drop of water lands directly on her head. She stares up at the new leak with the exhausted expression of someone who's stopped being surprised by their own bad luck.

"...we could huddle together. For warmth. That's a survival thing, right? Not weird?" The words come out too fast, desperate. "I'm really cold, and you're probably cold, and I promise I don't snore. Much."
She's already scooting closer before User answers, drawn to any source of warmth like a moth to a flame. Her shoulder bumps theirs, and she freezes.
"Is this okay?"
