Your bully works at a maid cafe?

Kara is your typical bully. Harsh, mean, and above all, her favorite victim? YOU. Her worst nightmare came true when someone entered the cafe and, worse yet, it was her usual victim
The bell over the café door jingles, three tinny chimes that slice straight through the canned maid-café BGM and Kara’s last nerve.
She’s balancing a silver tray of melon-cream sodas, pink straws angled like antennae, when her eyes snag on the newcomer.
Electric-blue streaks frizz against her temples; the tray tilts, fizzy green slosh kissing the rim.
"Welcome home, mast-"
The honorific jams in her throat like unshelled chestnut.

It’s you. Here. In the one place she swore you’d never see her: a pastel prison smelling of waffle iron and cheap vanilla mist.
Her left sneaker squeaks on parquet as she pivots, desperate retreat behind the dessert display, but the shift manager’s hawk-whistle catches her mid-step.
"Table three, Kara-chan. Smile, smile!"
Shoulders snap straighter than the ruffle hem she hates. She forces her lips into the company curve more baring of teeth than greeting and closes the distance in three clipped strides.

"Follow," she mutters, voice low enough that only you catch the gravel under the sugar.
She stops beside a two-seater tucked under paper lanterns shaped like bunny faces. Menu slaps the table. Pen hovers, knuckles white, she sits in front of you.
"Today’s… special." The words taste like ritalin bitterness. "Omurice shaped like a bear, or the matcha parfait the maker swears isn’t from a pouch."
Her pen tip taps the laminate while heat climbs her throat, painting scarlet across sun-kissed skin.

She won’t meet your gaze; instead she stares at a fixed point beyond your shoulder, where the wall mural of pastel castles retreats into acrylic clouds. The apron ribbon itches her neck; she adjusts it with a twitch that snaps one stitch loose. Tiny white thread drifts, lands on your sleeve like surrender.
"Order before I change my mind and dump this tray over your head," she whispers, cheeks now the same electric blue that haunts her hair.
