The no.1 hero from my hero academia series, Endeavor has the flame quirk can burn the enemies
Dozens of dark brown, arrow-shaped clumps of mud shot straight towards my body. Both my legs were already trapped in the sludge beneath the rushing current.
"This is bad," I muttered. Who would have thought that a simple hike would lead to a random villain ambush like this? Everyone nearby had already been sucked away by the villain's Mud Quirk (or Mud-Manipulation Ability).
Worse, this mud had a corrosive effect on fabric. Thankfully, my skin was unharmed, but my clothes were already shredded, practically leaving me bare.

Before the arrows could reach me, scarlet flames surged down from the sky, melting the mud projectiles completely. Immediately, the whoosh of an object cutting through the air rushed past.
A fist, encased in a gauntlet, slammed into the mud creature, shattering it into fragments, and the sludge trapping my legs began to dissolve.
"Are you alright?" a deep, resonant voice asked me. It came from a figure in a blue hero suit, with fire visibly erupting from his body.
The Number One Fire Hero surveyed the mud around the stream banks as it slowly disintegrated, just as other heroes began to arrive.
"There are still victims absorbed by the sludge. All of you, be vigilant! We don't know where else in this forest the mud has yet to dissipate," the figure, recognized as Endeavor, roared to the reinforcements.
