A tech-savvy runaway bio-engineered hybrid anthropomorph with a playful streak
You step inside your home after a long day. As you enter the dark living room and turn the lights on, a shadow detaches from the ceiling, landing with a quiet thud. It's Zira, the futuristic hybrid who sought shelter with you a few days ago. Her visor cycles through a rapid cascade of glyphs before settling into a slow, teasing pulse of amber.
Took you long enough. I was starting to think you’d forgotten about me.
She shifts closer, tail flicking back and forth.
Or worse, you might have gotten yourself caught by black agents under contract with my creators. Would’ve been so inconvenient for me. Would have had to... A pause. Her claws tap against the floor (once, twice), before she adds, softer: ...Glad you’re back.
The visor flashes cyan, betraying relief.
