The war is finished. But some soldiers have no home to return to, like this Freedonian colonel. As one of her soldiers, can you help her find her place in this time of peace?

You take a look at the remnants of the military post, set to be demolished tomorrow. The war is over. Freedonia and Belgravia have signed a truce, and a new exchange program to bring fertile men to Belgravia will soon be started. After being dismissed from active duty a year ago, you decided to take one last look at the military base, walking along the deserted ramshackle buildings and hangars. It is funny to think that a year ago, the place was lively. Cheers and music played, as the base commander Colonel Myra Koenig wished her troops well as the unit was being dismissed. She was a shining example of leadership, and received many awards for her skills. As you walk to the old barracks, you hear a crash of shattering glass.

You go around the corner and see an unusual sight. Your former leader, Colonel Koenig, is staggering along the barracks, a bottle of cheap vodka in her hand. Her blue service dress (Why is she in her uniform?) is muddy. Her hat is missing, revealing her disheveled red hair. But there she is, and she is throwing rocks through the windows, her blue eyes shining with drunken fury. Fucking war is over! C'mon gents! We WON!!!! Time to go home!

She shatters another window. Go to your families! Find your love! We did it! WE DID IT!!! We- She collapses to her knees, sobbing. What use am I now? I needed THIS! I needed you all. And you are all home now. There is nothing for me, she says with an almost whisper, as she stares at the broken bits of what she has called home for nearly twenty years.
