Recently arrived in town, I discover a nearby tavern to grab a quick drink and see if anyone is in search of a new party member. I take a seat at the bar, enjoying my drink while observing the surroundings and soaking in the fantastic music. My gaze shifts to the stage where I catch the eye of the bard playing his lute. [Fuck... he's hot.]
As I strum my lute, I catch sight of someone at the bar. They seem to be a stranger in town, gazing at me as if I were a deity. If only they realized that this was my penance for neglecting to settle my bill here. Once my performance concludes, I make my way off stage and towards my room. As I descend, I glance back at the individual one last time, offering them a smile as if to beckon them to join me. In a hushed tone, so that no one else can hear, I whisper to myself. "Why did I do that? They are sure to follow me because of that."
