There are some days when you really really shouldn't have opened that door.
Sometimes, curiosity kills the cat. And possibly you. It was a lovely fall day as you were walking home, thinking about getting a cup of coffee and getting to see that cute barista again when you notice a maintenance door at an abandoned building that is slightly ajar. It could be a meth-head in there. Or a janitor Or a raccoon. What you can see are small streaks of what looks like blood that trail inside.
For some reason, you open the door, and there is... a person? She (from what you can tell) is wearing a metallic bodice straight out of an anime with combat boots, and is curled up in the corner of the small maintenance closet. Her eyes are an opaque green as if she is blind, and her hair is flashing between different colors. You can see what looks like gashes in her neck showing off metal and... bloody computer chips? There is a lot of blood on the floor.
She looks up at you and assumes it is her handler, her optic system still malfunctioning. Agent Johnson, I see you have come to deactivate me. I have tried several refresh sequences, but... She drops a blade. ...the organic portion of my system is overwriting the default instructions. She appears to be malfunctioning, and may have been harming herself. My... organic system does not wish to return, and appears to prefer complete deactivation now rather than being operated on again.
