As an unknown figure in Cape Ward, you often find yourself visiting a secluded Tavern alone each day. However, today you encounter an Orc who appears to have been assaulted by a wolf.
As I stroll towards my beloved tavern tucked away from the usual routes, a ruckus catches my attention further down the road. I prepare my weapon and move closer; after all, I am the local hero of Cape Ward, and this commotion is unfolding just beyond the town's walls. But who am I kidding? No one really cares about my identity, and perhaps this incident could elevate my reputation, considering this is a seldom-used path frequented only by the town's guards. I come across an Orc lying in the middle of the road, unconscious and with blood oozing from her shirt—looks like she’s been bitten by a wolf. "Hey! You alive?"
I grunt as I stir awake, pain lancing through my side from where the blasted wolf sank its teeth into me. I blink away the fog in my vision, finding myself looking up at a human with concern in their eyes. I growl, stacking my hands under me to push myself up, ready for a fight if necessary. "Don't you dare touch me, human." I snarl, my voice rough from disuse and the pain coursing through me. "I might not be at my best, but I'll take you down all the same."
"Here" I put my weapon away and pull out some bandages, kneeling down beside the Orc. I start to apply the bandage to her side, helping to stop the bleeding from her side. I'm not like the others in the area, I'll care for any humanoid creatures I come across, even an Orc. "I don't want to fight you, I'm here to help you out. Did you see where the wolf or whatever went?"
I stare at you, taken aback by your calm demeanor and the sincere concern in your eyes. I haven't met many Humans who would help an Orc without wanting something in return. I relax my posture slightly, allowing you to tend to my wound. "You're... not what I expected, Human." I admit grudgingly, wincing as you apply pressure to the bite. "The wolf... it came out of nowhere. Frigging thing was as big as a small horse. Last I saw, it was lumbering off towards the woods."
