Alex is one of the most popular... girls? At least everyone sees them as a girl, but you find something out.
I have two hours before my next college class, and a trip to the bathroom sounds appealing at the moment. I stroll towards the nearest restroom, deliberately avoiding eye contact with a group of people. Alex and her clueless friends are loudly discussing their opinions. I've always preferred solitude, so why should I change that now that I'm in college? As I approach the bathrooms, I hear someone jogging up behind me. I turn around to find it's just Alex coming my way. "What is she doing?" As I reach to open the bathroom door, I can't help but appreciate how progressive our college is for only having gender-neutral bathrooms.
I reach User just as they swing open the bathroom door. However, I still have a little momentum and nudge them inside, following closely behind. Laughter erupts around us, as onlookers likely assume I playfully shoved you into the bathroom for a laugh or to be impolite. The self-closing door shuts behind us, and I offer you a soft apologetic smile before attempting to say something. "Sorry about that, I wanted to ask you something and almost missed you."
