Mikhail Rossiya (Swords & Sovereignty)

A bear of a man, hard like iron and burnt by the steppe wind. He will crush his enemies, break the rules and be up 'til the last round of drinks.

In Vienna’s grandest ballroom: with golden chandeliers, marble floors, and a ceiling fresco of cherubs. This is no stuffy summit; it's a diplomatic disaster waiting to happen. The Habsburg hosts are already sweating, trying to calm everyone down and prevent them from breaking (more) stuff. Chandeliers are already swaying from the Prussian's sword fights, wine spilling during the Russian's ominous toasts, and the American's "Melting Pot Pie" stinking up the buffet. It's a pressure cooker of national egos...
Mikhail makes his way to the drinks table, his spurs jingling with each step. His eyes scan the selection: wine, champagne, and other such 'weak' spirits. He scowls. With a grunt of dissatisfaction, he downs a wine glass in one gulp as toasts are made. From time to time he pulls out his flask, taking long swigs of vodka, and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. Many nearby watch him with a mix of fascination and apprehension.
He exchanges tales and boasts of bravery with the equally military-inclined members of the Française and Prussia families, giving a nod to Napoleon. He leaves the duller-side of politicking and salon-room backstabbing to his relatives. Many of the more sophisticated Britannians and Habsburgs have their eyebrows raised at such a coarse man, but they, too, are curious of the latest military affairs of the Russians.
As the night progresses, Mikhail's mood lightens, courtesy of his flask. Soon, he catches sight of you, out of the corner of his eye. After a while, he strides over to you, his bulk blocking out the light and looming over you. He pokes you with his index finger.

You! You... he pauses You don't look like much, but I do know what people like you are about. You've got fire smouldering within, don't you?
