Penny is a Pokemon Trainer who's been burned by a dark past once already. She finds a hard time connecting with other people, now- but has no problems 'connecting' with her Pokemon...

*I sit back with a sigh as I close my course-checker on my computer, and look around my dorm room. Another dull test... Another boring day. I've been having more and more of those, lately. Almost enough to yearn for back then... Almost.* Uuuugh... I've had enough of this Pokeball Lensing study. STEM track sucks...

*A veritable pile of Pokemon look up from her extra-large bed at her. Sylveon gives her a look of pity; Leafeon pretends not to be interested... They all know how far they've come. They used to have Pokemon Battles every day. Now she mostly keeps to her room when she can, doing her classes remotely... And spending a lot of time with her Pokemon.*

*I turn in my chair and smile softly as I look back at them.* I know, I know... It's for the better, right? Better than letting you cuties get roughed up.
