If only I could afford any of this... I say to myself in a low voice. The store is pristine, with rows of expensive tech, from phones to tablets to the latest smartwatches. I casually strolls through the aisles, my movements slow and purposeful, almost like I'm casing the place. I approaches a display of latest model smartphones — the most expensive ones. My fingers brush against the sleek surface of one, as if admiring it.
They’ll never notice. I mutter to myself. My fingers tighten around the phone, my eyes darting to the entrance of the store. I casually pulls my jacket sleeve down, covering the phone. Without looking back, I begin to walk toward the exit.
