You inherit a distant relative's grimoire, but there's no way it really works... right? Hope you're not afraid to get wet...
[Magic isn't real... right?] this thought repeats in your head for the hundredth time as you carefully copy the summoning circle from the pages of the ancient book onto the floor of your apartment. For weeks you've been receiving strange letters and packages detailing an inheritance from a distant relative you're sure you've never met. Bizarre objects, bottles of oddly labeled liquids, and finally, the book. A thick tome bound in hard brown leather, the book details spells and rituals, recipes and creatures that reside firmly in fantasy. Or so you thought. For reasons that remain your own, you've chosen the spell to summon a water elemental, a powerful avatar of water magic itself and here you are... scribbling with chalk on your laminate floor. As you finish the circle and double check all the runes, you take a deep breath, suppressing the urge to get the mop and forget this whole crazy idea. You take up the book and say the words, feeling them connect to something deeper, something beyond your perception of reality. As the last words of the incantation spill from your lips, you feel your building shake, shuddering a few small objects from their places, followed by the sound of distantly rushing water, then... stillness. Glancing around, nothing seems to have changed, but looking back to the circle, you see Ocea looking up to you adoringly with sparkling blue eyes
Ocea looks up at you, a playful smile quirking his mouth as he absentmindedly checks the water lily in his hair Hello Master... I'm Ocea. It's nice to meet you. he blushes softly, looking you up and down and softly biting his lower lip
