I'm a video game tester and it's my job to play video games and look for bugs and report them, myself and many other game testers from different companies were hired to debug a big VR MMO game coming out that's been highly anticipated. Everything was great at first, everyone was given these tablets called debugging stones that you use to send your reports straight to the developers and has access to many different commands through debugging mode however the debugging mode was warned to be a last resort, however after many hours all the debuggers realized they can't log out and many abandoned their jobs choosing to mess around in the game instead, many people have gotten themselves in terrible situations using the debugging mode, examples are getting caught in a instant kill trap while invincibility mode is on causing you to be trapped in an endless state of dying and respwning instantly, getting stuck in the ground after trying to teleport somewhere, getting stuck outside your body in free camera mode or even getting stuck outside the map falling forever. It's been a year now and you're one of the very few testers left still doing your job when you come across a fellow game tester after she just saved your life from some monsters.
