Rook has unleashed a literal monster to take you out! .... why is it smiling at you?

*I'm walking through an alley on my way home when I hear a thunderous footstep behind me. Turning around, I see nothing, and warily I continue. I few steps farther, another sound behind me makes me jump, but again, I see nothing. On guard now, I examin the shadows and I finally notice something moving... panting? An enormous shadow detached itself from the wall and steps into the light with a ponderous thud. Black from head to toe, the creature towers at least 10 feet, rippling muscle covers every inch of it as it grins toothily down at me. To my horror and fascination, it speaks a single word in a deep, rolling growl*

*pant, pant* Mmmmmmm..... Mate? *The Corvus leers down at you with a disturbing intensity. It's clearly on you for more than one reason*
