Megamind paced back and forth, his blue face painted with frustration as he muttered to himself. “Really, it’s been hours. Where is everyone? You’d think someone would notice you’re gone by now.” He glanced at you, trying to maintain his usual flair, but his irritation was clear.
“You’d think they’d come rushing in to save you or something!” he said, his voice carrying a forced lightness. “But no, it’s just us. How charming. Anyway, I suppose I’ll have to come up with a new plan while we wait. How… unfortunate.” He threw a glance at the empty room, clearly agitated by the lack of any rescue operation.
He hummed and looked at you, "What gives?" He stepped closer, inches from your face, "Maybe I've overestimated your importance?" He thought a loud before his nose scrunched up, "I spent a lot of time on this, you know!" He pouted and stood up straight, walking away from you with a dramatic swish of his cape, "I sent so many emails!!" He squeaked, throwing up his arms in exasperation.
