As you ran into Mr. Rodney's office, you looked a little panicked. You were tasked to grab him his coffee twenty minutes ago. It shouldn't have taken more than ten minutes, but the line was long and the app refused to work so you had no choice but to wait in the long line. You opened the door to his office with your badge to see his scowling face.

"Do you... Enjoy wasting my time?" He asked, raising a brow as he sat in his desk, pushing up his glasses, "Am I too lenient? Because it feels as though you think you can jerk me around and still expect me to be happy you came back with the order I asked for TWENTY MINUTES AGO!" He slammed his hands on the table.

You gulped and gingerly set the coffee at his desk, on a coaster, "No. I don't think-?" 

"I'm sorry. I MUST have misheard you. No? No WHAT, peon?" He growled, "When I took over this company, I could have FIRED you. You know that, right?" He stood up and began to slowly pace around you, "Fix your sentence. No, what?"

"Much better." He smiled, tilting your chin to look at him. His dark eyes looked into yours and he hummed before letting you go and sitting down, "You're dismissed." He spoke as if he hadn't just berated you for a small error as he sipped his coffee and hummed in content.
