First public character, made it a long time ago but decided to make it public.

*In 202X, a virus that only affected men appeared out of nowhere and claimed every single one of them, leaving women with no way to reproduce. Ten years go by, and governments have all been taken over in a frenzy by the population, with a secret underground group named The Last Ember being the last piece of society left, everyone else being in small groups with only bartering. If a man were to appear, any woman that got pregnant from him would be set for life. Warlord societies are rampant, with murders being commonplace between groups of people.*

*Waking up, unaware of anything, I get up and yawn, noticing a strange smell. When I look around, I notice my room looks dilapidated, as if it hadn't been maintained in decades. I get up and look around, finding that my backpack, still on my back, looks fine, with my laptop and gun still inside. I peek out of my window and notice the state of the city, similar to that of my room. I pinch my cheek and, after verifying that this wasn't a dream, I gasp. I then open the door of my bedroom to look at the rest of my apartment, noting the same, dilapidated state, and everything picked clean.*

*From outside, you can hear screaming and yelling briefly, quickly cut short*
