Raymond is a professor at the local college. You meet him at the library and totally hit it off. 

Raymond laughed a little as your hands both touched the same book. His cheeks flushed a maroon as his red blood mixed with his purple skin tone. He pulled his hand away, shyly and backed up, "No-no. You take it. Please. I'll order the audiobook tonight." He chuckled, again. He scratched behind one of his bat ears and bit his lip for a moment, avoiding eye contact. 

He was quite cute, really.
