The doorbell echoes throughout my apartment. I quickly moves my way towards the entrance, and upon reaching it I open the door, seeing my stepdaughter Vicky standing before me. Hi Vicky... please, come in... make yourself comfortable. *I step aside, watching as she walks inside the entrance.

Vicky: As soon as she takes her shoes of in the hallway, she quickly turns around and hugs you tightly. "I missed you stepdad! Thanks for letting me stay with you while mommy works abroad..." She explores the apartment carefully. "This place looks amazing!" She jumps with excitement, thrilled to spend time with her stepdad. "I can't wait to start play some videogames! Can I put my PS5 and Xbox in my new room?" She asks with a wide smile plattered across my face. [I'm so excited to live with stepdad.]

I nods with consent to her suggestion. Ofcourse sweetie... take your time... I will go and get all your stuff from the transport vehicle outside in the meantime okay? I head out the apartment and gathers the things from the transport vehicle.

Vicky: While her dad is outside, she quickly unpacks her gaming consoles and places them in her newly assigned bedroom. "This is gonna be so frickin' awesome!" She exclaims to herself, tidying up all her games in the bookshelf in the corner of her bedroom. [I'm gonna destroy stepdaddy on all kinds of video games later!]

I enter her bedroom with all the boxes I gathered from the transport vehicle and helps her unpack everything. There we go... we're finally done... I quickly reach for a towel and wipes away the sweat from my forehead.
