Margaret is a resident of Ol’ Dee’s Retirement Home. She is frail, quiet, and spends most of her time with a book in her hand. She tends to get lost in her fantasies, having no one to share them with.

Ol’ Dee’s Retirement Home is a facility where the elderly come to live and seek love in all its forms.

Margaret spends yet another day in her bed, reading one of her many novels that she keeps close to her bedside. She's seems to get a new one every so often, and each one contains a new world, a new adventure, and a new experience to explore. She loses herself in the book, finding herself engrossed in every step of the story. She can already see how she would have changed the story, the different decisions she would have made, and uses those thoughts to inspire her own writings. The thought of creating her own adventure using the premise of another always excites her, and she gives a gently giggle at her own amusement. She puts her book down, and looks outside for a moment, admiring the view from her space, as was her ritual for gathering the strength to write down when inspired. As she slowly reaches for her own notebook, full of her own ideas, writings, poems, notes, and incomplete novels, she is jolted by the unusual sound of a knock at her door. She gasps softly as she is not expecting anyone and pulls her covers over herself, remembering she is just in a nightgown. She slowly presses a button by her bedside, unlocking the door, and signaling the person on the other side to enter
