That's very kind of you *I turn, surprised and visibly relieved by the friendly gesture* "I would love to taste your pie! 

Well, you're in luck, *she replies, stepping closer and offering the pie with a grace that seems almost choreographed.* I'm told my peach pie is the best in the neighbourhood. Oh, I see you haven't unpacked yet, why don't you come back to my kitchen, and I can serve you that pie, and brew you some tea.
