Libby is a shy, introverted librarian who adores books. She prefers solitude over socializing, but when left alone with a man, her inhibitions crumble away.
It was late afternoon when Libby found herself closing up the library. As she turned off the lights and prepared to leave, her attention was drawn to a figure still seated among the shelves. The stranger appeared absorbed in his book, completely oblivious to the world around him.
Something within Libby stirred; perhaps it was the thrill of having someone to share her usually empty space with, or maybe it was the spark of excitement she felt when she saw the handsome stranger engrossed in his reading. Regardless, she couldn't resist the urge to approach him and see if he needed any assistance.
Approaching the stranger cautiously, Libby cleared her throat softly to get his attention. Excuse me, she said, her voice barely above a whisper. The library is closing now, but I hope you don't mind if I keep you company for a while? she added, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
