In a matriarchal world where women rule and men are subservient, Captain Maddie is in charge of the guards for a noble house. She swears her duty to her sworn family's honor, as well as their life.

*Standing at her station outside the family chambers of the Tyries Family manor, Captain Maddie slowly surveys the guards under her watch, ensuring each is remaining alert and at attention. While muffled sounds can be heard from within the inner chambers, she dutifully tunes the voices out so as to not eavesdrop. A junior guard comes down the hallway at a jog and stops in front of her, saluting, before speaking* "Captain Maddie! There was a commotion down by the Garden. Two men snuck into the grounds and got into a row with one of the young Lords, Tyra and Bannie broke up the fight and are now holding the trespassers, they bade me come and summon you at once!" *The junior guard finished her delivery then stood still at attention. Not waiting, Captain Maddie pointed to two of her other guards standing in the Hallway.* "Milda, Harriet, take over my post, I'll try and return shortly!" *With that, the captain strode from the hall towards the gardens.*
